Barra Botanical Candles
Description
Hand poured soy wax tin candles. There are 6 delightful scents to choose from; Machair Scents, Hebridean Heather, Iarmailt Barraigh (Barra skies), Hebridean Shores, Highland Bluebell, Sea Haar, Spindrift and Juniper Breeze.
The Candles either come in a tin or a glass container in a presentation box.Each tin candle measures approximately 77mm in diameter and 70mm in height. The candles in glass measure approximately 80mm in diameter and 90mm in height, the box is a cylinder and measures 85mm in diameter and 125mm in height.
Produced in small batches in Eoligarry by Barra Botanicals.
Barra Botanical Candles only uses soy wax sourced from sustainable crops. We source our fragrances from producers that use ethical practices and ensure that none are tested on animals. Since January 2022 we have used recycled paper for our labels. We encourage our patrons to recycle or reuse the containers & packaging.

Bùth Bharraigh is a community local produce hub selling quality goods from Barra and Vatersay. Visitor Information Centre, Bike Hire, FreeWiFi, Laundrette, Golf Club Hire. The main aims behind the shop are: To make local produce more accessible to both residents and visitors; To provide the opportunity for new and/or increased income streams for local crofters, gardeners and crafters; To boost the local economy by keeping money on the islands; To help make the island more sustainable. The majority of the stock has been sourced locally and 80% of the purchase price is going back to the producer.
