Description

Are you looking for a 3D printing service? Transition Stirling are able to help with their 3D printing service. Their 3D printer was built at their tool library using an open source design. It has a current build volume of 200x300x300mm which can be expanded to 300x300x300mm to accommodate a range of designs. They currently use recycled Polyacticacid (PLA) and recycled Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PETG) as printing materials.

Thanks to their printer, Transition Stirling are able to make parts for tools and equipment that they are unable to purchase elsewhere. This allows them to repair and reuse tools and equipment which would have previously been recycled or sent to landfill.
