Make Your Own Candle Kit

Purchase on website

Ayrshire, Arran and Argyll & Bute

If you know someone who loves candles, why not get them a kit to make their own? Mecoco's Candle Making kit contains everything you need to make a candle in a large tin. There are seven wonderful scents to choose from and a choice of eight colours.

The kit contains full instructions, soy wax, the tin (with lid), wick, wooden spoon, fragrance oil and dye. It also contains a thermometer and gadget to hold your wick in place whilst your candle sets.

You will need a container to melt the wax in (best to use a metal or glass jug), a saucepan and timer (your mobile phone should do the trick!).

The kit is not suitable for unsupervised children.
