Magic Torch Comics work collaboratively with schools, community groups and organisations to tell stories using comics. We have created comics across a broad range of topics, from the lived experiences of women in the asylum process to comics which re-interpret local folk tales.

Our current projects include a series of stories created for Cop26, historical comics exploring the Antonine Wall and Common Good Comics, a partnership project with Glasgow Caledonian University, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund which explores the history of social enterprise in Scotland.

The organisation was named as one of The Big Issue’s Top 100 Changemakers for 2020 as a result of our literacy and story work with schools.

From one off workshops or bespoke information sharing comics, through to full length interpretive projects, we can help you tell your story too.
