Welcome to #BuySocialScotland, a national initiative supported by the Scottish Government to facilitate social impact through procurement. The campaign promotes the idea that Scottish business leaders have a positive role to play in creating a fairer and more sustainable local economy.

By embedding innovation, diversity and social value into their supply chains, procurement leads in the public and private sector can help support the communities in which they, and their customers, live and work.

With over 6,000 social enterprise in Scotland delivering social and environmental impact, using a business for good as a supplier for your supply chain needs has never been easier.

In December 2020, we launched a pilot website and campaign promoting products, experiences and vouchers from social enterprises across Scotland. The idea was to showcase presents with a purpose in the lead-up to Christmas.

Over 24,000 visitors visited the website over the month to get introduced to some of the great social enterprises in our communities and the Christmas gifts that make a difference that they could purchase from them.

This September, we're scaling Buy Social Scotland by launching this second sister website which promotes services from social enterprises, and we'll also be highlighting case studies on what the benefits of working towards a values-led supply chain are.

Buy Social is a global campaign, with initiatives running in over 10 countries! Bookmark this website and our blog to stay in the loop and help us share the word with colleagues and peers.
